NEWS: 2NE1 to Drop New Single This Week, Embark on World Tour Next Year.
2NE1 will release their new tune 그리워해요 “I Miss You” (translated title) this Thursday at 12 a.m. KST, starting the second-ever world concert tour in Seoul next March, the hugely popular K-pop act announced through their official blog on Monday.
Group 2NE1 released additional teaser photos for new song ‘Missing You‘ through portal site Naver.
In 2NE1′s teasing image released on the afternoon of November 20th, the members unveiled their dim sad features. Especillay member Park Bom and CL is exposing their body showing their sexiness as well.
Park Bom is showing off her abundant breast with tube top costume, looking dim and plaintive with her sad eyes. CL is wearing a deep V-neck costume looking voluptuous.
Minzy and CL are staring into the air, posing as if they are missing their lost lovers.
Previously, 2NE1 unveiled each members’ teasing image and part of the sound source through YG official blog. Starting with leader CL featuring her tantalizing voice on 19th midnight, youngest Minzy at 10AM, Dara Park ar 5PM and main vocal Park Bom at 10PM respectively revealed their teasing image and sound source.
Meanwhile, 2NE1 will be dropping their new song ‘Missing You’ on 21 and take their first comeback stage at ‘Mnet Asian Music Awards’ on 22. Also they will begin their world tour in March next year at Seoul and engage with world fans in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and so on.

YG Entertainment’s CEO Yang Hyun-suk introduced 2NE1‘s new song ‘Missing You’ which will be released on the 21st as a “marvelous song which will make tears running down.”
On 19th afternoon, he revealed to OSEN that, “This song is weird. The refined arrangement of the song is outstanding like a pop song and has peculiar charm. This song unintentionally makes you cry.”
According to Yang Hyun-suk, the song not only made 2NE1 cry but also Lee Eun-Joo cried after listening to the song. He added, “It was hard to make progress when recording due to the members crying. It was so weird. So I made my wife listen and she also cried right away. I was so surprised. I am curious of how the public will respond.”
The song was composed by YG’s main producer Teddy. In the previously unveiled teaser, ‘I hate him, who left me‘ lyrics and tantalizing melody garnered attention.
Dara Park introduced their new song ‘Missing You’ as following, “I needed a box of tissues while I was recording this song because of my tears.” and Park Bom added, “This song will be delivering our feelings by touching your soul.”
The single will be released on November 21 at midnight in Korean Standard Time.

Popular group 2NE1 revealed their plaintive ‘Missing You‘ music video’s making film.
2NE1′s agency YG Entertainment garnered attention with their ‘Missing You’ music video making film revealed through official blog on 29th afternoon. For about two minute and 40 seconds the video features, members’ short interview and lively set atmosphere.
In the beginning of the making film, 2NE1 garnered attention with their fancy accessories, costumes, and shoes. Member Dara Park kindly noticed the beginning of the film with her narration, “This is 2NE1 music video set. I feel a little awkward since it’s been a long time.”
The lively set was featured with members getting their make up done and the members monitoring their scenes. Also leader CL‘s naked performance which garnered attention appeared for a short time.
Minzy said she played the twenty year old girl missing her one sided love. Park Bom also shortly interviewed, “I cried a lot while I was recording the song. As I am filming the music video I still feel bad. It makes me sad.”
The well filmed ‘Missing You’ music video featuring the lonesome sadness after break up also came up with calm melancholy making film. Especially CL high fived with her members and said “It was exhausting, but I might miss this some day.”
Meanwhile, 2NE1 recently released winter song ‘Missing You’ full of sensitivity and is generating positive buzz. After promoting this song, they will be engaging with world wide fans in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Japan and so on starting in Seoul next year March.

"We didn't come together to form a group. Each of us was preparing a solo debut then we met one another 'like destiny'. We have different musical preferences, but we all think that 'we have to do it right if we really want to do it'. We will do cool music, as long as we do it," said CL according to YGLadies.

In talking about "Missing You," the ladies of 2NE1 expressed their goals for their music.
"We have been just running and running since our debut. As we came to see a bigger world and a bigger picture having a world tour, we realized that every moment is precious. We received the song after the tour. We wanted to express a bigger meaning than just relationship between a man and woman," continued CL.
Regarding the nude scene featuring CL in the "Missing You" music video, Bom and Dara both supported the decision.
"I was surprised at first, but I could understand her, after I heard her thoughts. I think it helped our music video," said Bom.
"At first, I thought she was suggesting it to all of us, so I said 'I'm not ready yet!'" laughed Dara.
After releasing "Falling in Love," "Do You Love Me," and "Missing You," many Blackjacks are wondering whether the long promised new album will surface anytime soon.
Fortunately, it appears the current goal is to have a new album released before the 2NE1 world tour in March of next year.
"For the tour, and for us, we want to advertise that we will release a regular album before kicking off the tour. I want to make the audience see a good concert," promised CL.
But what will happen to 2NE1 after the world tour? Given their quotes, perhaps a hiatus to pursue solo activities might follow, although some fans will no doubt be saddened at not seeing the ladies together.
"I personally feel sorry that each of us has never performed as a solo artist," said CL.
"Looking at each one's different charms, I think that it would be nice if we can perform songs that can express our different individualities. When we have the opportunity, I and the other members will come back as solo artists. When we come together again after that, won't we be stronger?"
